The Survey Intern, will spend the majority of their time working on survey crews with an experienced crew chief.  The intern will assist with boundary surveys, construction staking, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys and GPS data collection. The emphasis will be on construction staking. Occasional time may be spent in the office performing general clerical and/or survey duties. Trimble, Robotic Total Station and GPS are standard equipment.

The selected candidate will be enrolled in a Civil Engineering, Land Surveying or Survey Technology Degree, or related field, from an accredited post-secondary institution. General coursework in, and completion of, general surveying and AutoCAD drafting are preferred.

The ability to work in extended outdoor conditions in required. Students must possess a valid class D driver’s license and be insurable under the firm's standard rates.
